She makes really great stuff, you can have a look here. These are the drawings I've sent her for my puppet, I'll post pictures of the finished puppet when it's done!

From Friday morning to Saturday morning, I participated in GDC's design-a-thon 2009. I worked with the team from Veer for 24 hours to design for a non-profit organization. We sat in a room for 24 hours (that's three work days!) and renamed, rebranded, and created a stationary package, website, ad campaign, and t-shirt for Child and Youth Friendly Calgary. It was a lot of fun, the people from Veer were awesome, and it was cool to see how much work we could accomplish in 24 hours.
I felt a little loopy and nauseous afterwards (it was probably the caffeine and sugar binge more than the lack of sleep), so hopefully with school being finished for good, I can swear off all-nighters for a while now.

Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 10:51PM Market Collective was a blast, thanks to everyone who came out. I've been on-the-go nonstop for the past couple of weeks preparing everything for the big portfolio show tomorrow. I've updated my design portfolio and removed some of the old junk that I'm not happy with any more.
I also did a fun photoshoot last week for my friend Kyle's new clothing line "Daleio". I shot it in a room the size of a closet with makeshift lighting, but it was a lot of fun and I had great models to work with. I used similar processing as the "Zara" ads from earlier in the year but with a clean, high-key look. I'm going to be designing the daleio.com website for Kyle this month, so I'll hopefully have a chance to do more fun fashion shoots.
